Exiting European Union will likely put a huge strain on United Kingdom’s agencies that help protect the citizens, government and businesses from cyber threats. A lot of security experts are already worried that the UK will be now more prone to cyber threats than ever before.
Exiting the EU will result in more hacktivism, a decrease in information sharing, reduction in good talent and increased complexity in regulations.
Hackers are known to take advantage of chaotic situations like these and right now UK is in a lot of uncertainty over the Brexit.

The policy on cyber security in the U.S. seen an up and down path.
During December last year, the congress had passed a bill that made it easier for software companies in the U.S. to keep their proprietary technology. It also encouraged them to share any data they have on cyber security issues. It was a strong push from the authorities in order to help combat threats that are rapidly changing.
But then in April 2016, a new bill was introduced that would force any U.S companies to provide backdoor access to encrypted data which would reveal personal information of users of that technology.
