Following one of the biggest online bank heists in the world, companies are now aiming to strengthen their cyber security.
In Feburary, Hackers stole $81 million from a bank in Bangladesh using the SWIFT transfer method which is used all over the world to transfer money.
The hackers sent several requests through the SWIFT network. Due to the popularity and its worldwide usage, the bank heist could have been a lot worse. This heist has become one of the top examples in hackers targeting businesses all over the world. There are other big name companies who have faced similar threats in the past which has led them to increase their cyber security measures alltogether.
