For years we have been fighting cyber criminals as they take control of software installed on our systems, routers and networks. But did you know that hackers can take control of your physical components inside your system?

A new trick called ”Rowhammer” has just been demonstrated by researchers at Google. The trick uses a program on the target computer and then repeatedly overwrites a certain transistors inside the memory of the computer until a glitch appears.
From there on the memory installed on the system starts leaking charge and causes all the memory in the row to flip.
